What a great week. I attended the ASIST (Applied Skills in Suicide Training) two day course delivered in Immingham by Marion and Mary-Ann on Tuesday/Wednesday so have enhanced my knowledge around suicide intervention and can now identify myself as ASIST trained.
On Tuesday evening we attended North Lindsey College’s Apprenticeship of the Year Award Ceremony where we had sponsored the Health and Social Care apprenticeship award. A worthy winner in Sarah Swanson who was nominated by her enthusiastic Assessor Charlie Grieve. Lovely ceremony organised by North Lindsey and enjoyed listening to Ashleigh Porter-Exley, the BBC’s Young Apprentice of the Year.
A number of enquiries received regarding MHFA Standard and MHFA Youth both for locally organised workshops and for others to be delivered elsewhere.
Looking forward to MHFA Youth workshop next week ……………….
